Crafted by artist and sculptor, Serena Carone, this cup is handmade in Astier de Villatte’s Paris workshop using traditional methods from black terracotta and finished with a white enamel glaze. Displaying the natural beauty and imperfections of the clay, each piece is subtly unique and is engraved with the brand’s signature crest alongside the initials of the artisan who created it. A functional piece of art, this cup features a gold rim and uses a dazzling ring with a gold band and multicoloured detailing in lieu of a traditional handle.

This particular design was named after the late Catherine Levy, friends of the founders of Astier de Villatte, who started the company Tsé & Tsé and Dorette jewelry. The ring is one of her designs, rendered in clay.
